Out of nowhere yesterday Rod Stewart, yes that Rod Stewart, rang up Sky News for a rant about the Tories.
A proud Conservative voter until very recently.
But as you can tell he isn’t anymore.
He said: ‘I would like to pay for 10 or 20 scans …Because it seems ridiculous that this particular scanning clinic was empty and there are people dying because they can’t get scans.’
‘I, personally, have been a Tory for a long time, but I think this government should stand down now and give the Labour party a go at it.’
His comments comes as the Department of Health has wasted a total of £15bn on unused personal protective equipment, Covid tests and vaccines, prompting heavy criticism from the Whitehall spending watchdog.
As you can see a lot of people agreed with him.
