Out of nowhere yesterday Rod Stewart, yes that Rod Stewart, rang up Sky News for a rant about the Tories.

A proud Conservative voter until very recently.

But as you can tell he isn’t anymore.

He said: ā€˜I would like to pay for 10 or 20 scans …Because it seems ridiculous that this particular scanning clinic was empty and there are people dying because they can’t get scans.’

ā€˜I, personally, have been a Tory for a long time, but I think this government should stand down now and give the Labour party a go at it.’

His comments comes as the Department of Health has wasted a total of £15bn on unused personal protective equipment, Covid tests and vaccines, prompting heavy criticism from the Whitehall spending watchdog.

Reactions

As you can see a lot of people agreed with him.

9.

We don’t need heavy metal singer Rod Stewart lecturing us on politics.
This buffoon should just stick to singing his boring & shouty hits such as ā€˜Maggie May’ & ā€˜Crocodile Rock.’
A lifetime of lechery & skunk has led him to such bizarre political views.
