As Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer both made their new years speeches, the Tory leader’s words have been called out in a new viral video by Peter Stefanovic.
Sunak’s message
Rishi Sunak unveiled what he called five “pledges to deliver peace of mind”, halving inflation, growing the economy, reducing national debt, cutting NHS waiting lists and passing a law connected to unofficial Channel crossings. The other big promise was mandatory maths study 18.
Another person who wasn’t impressed with Sunak’s speech was actor Simon Pegg, as you can see here…
He couldn’t hide his anger in a video he shared on Instagram.
“So Rishi Sunak, our unmandated, unelected prime minister twice removed, has decided it should be compulsory for children to learn Maths up until the age of 18 – what a pr***,” Pegg said.

Stefanovic wasn’t similarly angered by Sunak’s comments, but he pulled up the Tory leader on a number of matters.
He wrote: “This was an absolute disgrace. How is it even possible a room full of journalists could allow the Prime Minister to get away with this much bull****! If you want the public to know the TRUTH make sure everyone you know watches this.”
