Nadine Dorries was left looking a bit silly (again) when she picked an on-line fight with someone with only a few followers.
It ended up blowing up and the person in question, Bob Roberts, is now on over 46,000 followers. That story is at the end of this article.
Now Tory MP lee Anderson has had a pop with someone who he feels isn’t a big enough deal on social media to have an opinion.
Lee responded to Chris Delaney’s account and wrote: “You have one Twitter followers in 5 years. Hardly an influencer are you when even your friends refuse to follow you. assuming you have friends.”
Well this wasn’t missed by Simon Harris!
He tweeted: “Oh dear. Tory MP Lee Anderson thinks Chris’ views and opinions are worthless because he has one follower. Wouldn’t it be a terrible shame if @chris_delaney90 ended up overtaking Mr Anderson on here because loads of us followed him. It would be awful, wouldn’t it? Just terrible.”
Bob is up for it as well!
He tweeted: “People, I think you know the drill…”
Chris tweeted: “At Lee Anderson being mean to me has amassed me (one of his constituents) a small following.”
He also wrote: “Apparently this is called the Nadine Dorries effect!”
He is now on over 7,300 followers!
