Do you watch ITV’s This Morning? Do you think the Holly and Phil queue jumping clams tainted an already boring show?
Well, stop right there for a moment!.
Alison Hammond was presenting and the guests began to chat about the latest government scandal, there are so many we have lost count.
Anyway, Hammond had more than a few words on the Nadhim Zahawi tax ‘issue.’
It comes as this morning a former Tory cabinet minister has demanded Nadhim Zahawi steps down as party chair while an ethics investigation takes place.
Caroline Nokes said the story had become a distraction for the Conservative Party and that Zahawi should “step aside” for the greater good.
Noakes went on: “When you become the story, it’s a distraction from anything else the government’s trying to do,” Caroline told TalkTV. “There are countless examples of good, competent cabinet colleagues who got themselves in a mess, who have resigned and in some instances returned just a few months later, and I think in order to get this cleared up, Nadhim should stand aside and let the investigation run its course.”
Back to Alison, it’s a good watch and she really hits her flow at about 70ish secs in.
